Accreditation

The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) works to maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in dental schools and programs across the nation. Every seven years, UFCD’s DMD program, and most specialty programs, go through the accreditation process.

Accreditation includes a comprehensive self-analysis and self-study on resources, curriculum, policies and operational standards, followed by a site visit from CODA team members to conduct interviews and evaluate if the program meets accreditation standards.
