Accreditation 2015 Outcome

UF College of Dentistry received official word in March 2016 that its predoctoral and advanced specialty education programs in endodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics were granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements” by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). “Approval without reporting requirements” indicates that the program achieves or exceeds the basic requirements for accreditation.

The program in dental education and the advanced specialty education programs endodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements.” The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United Stated Department of Education.
