The University of Florida College of Dentistry predoctoral and advanced graduate education programs, including endodontics, oral pathology, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics and radiology, will undergo accreditation by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) in Fall 2023.
Our DMD program and most of our specialty programs are on a seven-year cycle for accreditation that requires a great deal of preparation and reflection to prepare a self-study that outlines how our educational programs meet or exceed standards set by the Comission on Dental Accreditation, which is part of the American Dental Association.
We were originally scheduled for our CODA Accreditation in September 2022, however COVID-19 delayed the process one year.
